Smart India Hackathon Mentor

Team Meraki_ comprising of Uma Maheshwari D (Team Lead), Suraj SK, Saalini D from Final year ECE ‘C’, Jeffrey Joan, Kumaresh B from Final year CSE and Swaeta L from EEE mentored by Dr.T.J.Jeyaprabha, Associate Professor /ECE and Dr. B Praveen Kumar, ASP/CSE has received internship offers for their technical excellence in the 36 hour Smart India Hackathon 2022 for the problem titled “Making career choice and AI-based counseling accessible secondary level along with aptitude tests and detailed career paths”, given by the Department of School Education & Literacy (DoSEL), Ministry of Education under the domain Miscellaneous – Software Category, conducted by AICTE at the nodal center JSS TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY, Mysore, Karnataka from 25th to 26th August 2022.
Dr. B. Praveen Kumar, ASP / CS mentored a team QuadraFour and won 4th place with an Internship from SAP in the iTech Hackfest A national level Hackathon organized by PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research in association with SAP for the problem statement Web application for farmers to sell their products directly to consumers at PSG itech, coimbatore from 25th August to 27th August 2022.
Participated as a mentor of team “Semicolon.SVCE1” in ‘Grand finale software edition of Smart India Hackathon – SIH, 2019’ on March 2-3 at Bhubaneswar,odisha.
