2. Endowment & Institutional Scholarships

Vasant J. Sheth Memorial Foundation Scholarship (Marine Engineering)

A scholarship of Rs. 50,000 is awarded to one outstanding student each from Second, Third, and Final Year Marine Engineering, based on academic performance.

In addition, it has sanctioned Rs.8,000 towards the preparation of a gold medal to be awarded to the Best Outgoing Student of Marine Engineering in recognition of outstanding academic performance, discipline, and overall achievement.

Alumni Scholarship (1985–89 Batch)

• Sponsored by the first batch of alumni
• Covers tuition fees for deserving girl students from III Semester to Final Semester
• Eligibility:
  • Family income ≤ ₹2,50,000 per annum
  • Based on Merit and Economic Need

Swadhyaya Trust–SVCE Scholarship (1997-2001 Batch)

• Supports students from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds
• Preference for:
  • Students with single/no parent
  • First-generation graduates
• Covers tuition support and provides career readiness guidance

3. Government Scholarships

Post-Matric Scholarships (SC/ST/OBC/EWS)

• Applicable to eligible students in recognized institutions
• Benefits:
  • Full/partial tuition fee reimbursement
  • Maintenance allowance

Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship (CSSS)

• For students in the top 20% of Class XII performance
• Assistance:
  • Rs. 10,000 per year (UG level, initial years)
  • Up to Rs. 20,000 per year (higher years)

Minority Scholarships

• For students belonging to Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, and Jain communities
• Benefits include:
  • Tuition fee support
  • Stipend / maintenance allowance



4. AICTE Scholarships

Pragati Scholarship (for Girl Students)

• Amount: ₹50,000 per year
• Applicable to first-year / lateral entry girl students
• Subject to income criteria

Saksham Scholarship (for Differently-Abled Students)

• Amount: Rs. 50,000 per year
• For students with ≥ 40% disability



5. State Government Schemes (Tamil Nadu)

First Graduate Scholarship

• Tuition fee concession for first graduate students in a family
