The Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD), established in April 1970, is a national level professional & non-profit society registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. It has a large membership of individuals and institutions involved in the area of training and development of Human Resource from Government, Public and Private Sector Organizations & Enterprises; Educational and Training Institutions and other Professional Bodies. The Society is affiliated to the International Federation of Training and Development Organizations (IFTDO), Geneva. Under Governing of the ISTD National Chapter we have the ISTD Chennai Chapter which also includes the ISTD SVCE Student Chapter.

The student chapter is committed to nurture the students on technical knowledge, communication, leadership, business acumen and cultural awareness. The club has about 600 active members from various branches and with a strong executive team for coordinating the activities of the club. The student chapter has multiple wings to plan for the events and conduct as per the student’s need.
