Boobalasenthilraj, Assistant Professors, Department of Automobile Engineering, have published a patent titled “Variable Diameter Driven Sprocket for Motorized Bikes” in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).

  • Dr. V. Ganesh, Associate Professor & Assistant Head of the Department, Mr. R. Sakthivel, Mr. A. K. Boobalasenthilraj, and Dr. Ramanjaneyulu Kolla, Assistant Professors from the Department of Automobile Engineering, SVCE, have successfully secured an externally funded research project from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).

  • Mr. Kalaiselvan P, Mr. Manish N and Mr. Mathivanan K, Final year UG students of the Department of Automobile Engineering, received Intramural grant of Rs.10,000/- during the academic year 2023-2024 for the project titled “Electronically controlled Regenerative Braking”. The project is mentored by Mr. R. Sakthivel Assistant Professor / Automobile Engineering.

  • Mr M Arunshankar, Mr Akanksh Ananth and Mr B Avinash, Final year students of the Department of Automobile Engineering, received Intramural grant of Rs.10,000/- during the academic year 2020-2021 for the project titled “Electronically controlled Regenerative Braking”. Seven thousand five hundred (Rs. 7500/-) from Tamil Nadu State Council For Science And Technology (TNSCST) for the project “Enhancing Driver Maneuverability By Replacing Side Mirrors With Cameras And Reducing Air Drag”.

  • Mr. Nithish vardan, A.V.J, Mr. Sudharsan.S, Mr. Kaarthikeyan.S, Final year UG student of the Department of Automobile Engineering, received a grant through Tamilnadu State Council for Science and Technology (TNSCST – STUDENT PROJECT SCHEME) for the year 2021-2022. They received a grant of Rs. 7500 for the project titled “Design of IOT based vehicle air conditioning alert system” (Project No. EME-0277 and S.No. 1002). The project mentored by Dr.V.Ganesh, Associate Professor/Automobile Engineering.

  • Mr. Gopalakrishnan E, Mr. Ramakrishnan B R and Mr. Shree Ram Vishaal S, Final year UG students of the Department of Automobile Engineering, received Intramural grant of Rs.10,000/- during the academic year 2021-2022 for the project titled “Design and Simulation of Hybrid electric two wheeler”.
