Our Biotechnology building has three floors with 73,000-sq.ft area for all the Laboratories (10 Laboratories), Research Laboratory, Department Library, Conference Room, and Offices for Head of the department and members of faculty, Office room, Two store room, Visitors room, Ladies retiring room.
Apart from this, department has 6 class rooms (each accommodates 60 students) with Black board, Smart board, CCTV camera and LCD projector.
Department has full-fledged laboratories that includes Biochemistry & Bio-organic Chemistry, Bio-informatics, Bio-Process, Cell Biology, Genetic Engineering, Immunology, Instrumental Methods of Analysis, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Downstream Processing, Computational System Biotechnology Lab, Research Lab and Animal house facility.
The Laboratories are periodically upgraded as per the curriculum and as per the new developments in Biotechnology.
