The Alumni Association presents Budding Bright Engineer Award for every academic year. The award comprises of a cash prize of Rs.2500/- (Rupees Two Thousand and Five Hundred Only) and a certificate of merit. Two second year UG students from each department are selected based on their first year academic performance and economic means. The award aims at motivating the students to maintain a consistent academic performance throughout their degree.

The ECE Association along with SVCE-ISF organized a technical talk on “Financial technologies and the payment trends” and “Career choices and common interview questions” under the banner of IETE Chennai Centre on Jan 10, 2020 (Friday).
