Students Achievements

• Mr. Rahul.B, Ms.V Madhumitha, Ms.Nivedha Mugundhan, Final year UG student of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, received a grant through Tamilnadu State Council for Science and Technology (TNSCST-STUDENT PROJECT SCHEME) for the year 2021-2022. They received a grant of Rs. 7500 for the project titled “Optical Pen”(Project No. EEE-0577 and S.No. 852). The project was mentored by Mrs.M.Vidya Assistant Professor, ECE.
• J Vijay Soorya, P S Sanjay, K Sathappan, Final year ECE students, published paper titled Network-on-Chip for Low Power MAP Decoder Using Folded Technique and CORDIC Algorithm for 5G Network during 2021.
• Karthik Rajagopal of third year ECE published paper titled, A Novel System of Alerting Electric Leaks in Transmission Poles Using Smart Digital Systems in International Journal for Research in Engineering Application and Management (IJREAM) during 2021.
• Vishnusai R Final year ECE students, published paper titled Autonomous Upgraded Herbicide Sprayer Using Basic Concepts of Artificial Intelligence in Turkish Journal of Computer and Mathematics Education during 2021.
• Mr.Kumaran S V, Mr.Premraj S, Mr.Lokesh S, received Best Paper Award for the paper titled “First Response Drone” presented in the International Conference on Power of Digital Technologies in Societal Empowerment - IETE CHENCON 2021 organized by IETE Chennai Centre during June 4 and 5, 2021.
• Kaushik G.V., Giridaran S., G Naga Lohith Reddy received Best Paper Award for the paper titled A Secret Key Generation using Double Chaotic Maps and Hash Algorithm for Image Encryption during the International Conference on Power of Digital Technologies in Societal Empowerment – CHENCON 2021 organized by the Department of IETE-Chennai Center on 4th and 5th June 2021.
• Guda Venkata Kaushik,Giridaran S, G Naga Lohith Reddy received Best Paper Award for the paper titled Digital Signature Verification for Cloud Storage using ECC during the International Conference on Power of Digital Technologies in Societal Empowerment – CHENCON 2021 organized by the Department of IETE-Chennai Center on 4th and 5th June 2021.
• Mr. M Piyush of final year ECE presented paper titled Can Natural Language Processing with Machine Learning and RNN Assist in Classification of Records in Healthcare and therefore Save Business time and Cost by Integrating it with Robotic Process Automation in INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE FOR AI, ROBOTICS AND AUTOMATION 2020 (ICARA 2020) on 14/10/2020 to 18/10/2020.
• R. Gurucharan, K.K. Gowtham, P. Aaron Jerin Roger has received a grant of Rs. 21000/- from ISRO towards their project proposal titled “Automated Portable Beverage Maker with Selection of Choice and Dry-Cleaning Mechanism with Quantum Anomalous Hall Effect” under the STARTUPINDIA projects scheme.
• R. Gurucharan, K.K. Gowtham, P. Aaron Jerin Roger, T.J. Jeyaprabha published paper titled AUTOMATED EFFICIENT SPACE HANDLING PARKING SYSTEM USING IOT during International Conference on Recent Trends in Computing, Communication and Networking Technologies (ICRTCCNT’19) Oct 18-19, 2019, organized by Kings Engineering College, Chennai, Tamilnadu, India.
• P.R. Sriram, M. Muthu Manikandan, Nithin Ayyappa and Rahul Murali received “ Best Paper Award” for the paper titled " Textile Sensor based Exo- Skeleton Suite for the Disabled" in the Fourth International Conference on INFORMATION and COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY (ICICT 2019) during the period 25th to 26th February, 2019 at Hamilton Centre, Brunel University, London, UK.
