  CONSULTANCY WORK

• During my research activity, successfully commissioned the complete set-up of Single cylinder four stroke Diesel engine coupled with electrical dynamometer with all necessary AVL instruments and accessories in the year 2012. The experimental facility generated the revenue of amount 8 lakhs (till now). The experimental set-up is utilized by research scholars from Anna University and other universities.
• Also acting as an additional coordinator in the Automotive Research cell.

Sanctioned External Funded Project – TNSCST:

• Dr. S. Premnath, Associate Professor in the Department of Automobile Engineering at SVCE, has received a grant of Rs. Seven thousand five hundred (Rs. 7500/-) from Tamil Nadu State Council For Science And Technology (TNSCST) for the project “Enhancing Driver Maneuverability By Replacing Side Mirrors With Cameras And Reducing Air Drag”.

Lecture Delivered

• Dr. S. Premnath, Associate Professors, from the Department of Automobile Engineering, attended the BIS Sensitization Programme for Faculty (BSPF). The program was organized by SVCE-BIS Standards Club in collaboration with the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Chennai branch on 10th January 2024.
• Dr. S. Premnath, Associate Professor in Automobile Engineering at Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, has received certification for completing the SWAYAM-NPTEL online course on Quality Assurance through NAAC Accreditation Process (3 Credit Course). The course was conducted by the National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research, Chennai.
