The Department of Applied Chemistry started functioning from the day of inception of the College. Dr. T.K. Thirumalpad was the Professor and Head of the department at Nazarathpet campus. The Department has qualified and well experienced faculty and staff. The department is handling Chemistry courses for all the first year under graduate Enggineering programme. The department is well equipped with excellent lab facilities to catter the requirments of first year engineering and second year Chemical enginnering programme.
