The Jeernoththarana Ashtapandana Mahakumbabishekam of Sri Vijaya Ganapathy Aalayam was performed on 6.7.2006 at
11.00 A.M.
The Yagasala pooja commenced from 3.7.2006.
A series of cultural programme was also organised. Ms. Seethalakshmi, II Year - Information Technology performed Bharatha Natiyam on 3.7.2006 ; Upanyasam by Mr. Ganapathi Ramachandran, Mayiladuthurai, Adi Sankarar's Ganesa Pancharathnam on 4.7.2007 ; Devotional songs by Dr. Sirgazhi Siva Chidambaram on 5.7.2006.
Dr. A.C. Muthiah and Mrs. Devaki Muthiah attended the Mahakumbabishekam. Large number of Staff and students witnessed the Mahakumbabishekam.
The " Mandalabishekam " Pooja commenced from 7.7.2006. Mandalabishekam Purthi will be done on 23.8.2006. Devotees are requested to participate in the Mandalabishekam and to receive the blessings of Lord Sri Vijaya Ganapathy.
