Digital Library

SVCE strongly believes in promoting and facilitating eLearning. Towards this, we have developed a Digital Library section (Campus Access only) with 30 computers connected with a high configuration server along with audio aids, which is sponsored by the SVCE Alumni Association.
eResources available include:

NPTEL Resources

National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) which provides online courses and video lectures which use several methods like chalk-and-talk, tablet writing, power point, two and three dimensional animations, interactive codes, etc. Each course runs for an hour duration.

SVCE Videos

About 112 class room video lectures of SVCE Faculty Members in various subjects were made available in Digital Library Portal (Campus Access only).

International Journals:

The subscriptions to publishers such as eJournals of IEEE, ScienceDirect, Springer Nature, Cambridge University Press, and Wiley Online are also provided to enrich and benefit our library users

Accessing of eResources Remotely: The eResources can be accessed remotely (Off-Campus) through eSharing.

Steps to be followed to use eSharing (Desktop) :
1) Open a browser -> Open Proxy Settings -> Configure Proxy Server - Address: 47.247.236.42 and Port: 3128
2) Go to https://www.svce.ac.in/facilities/library/digital-library/
3) Give your SVCE's Internet Access / Wi-Fi User ID and Password to access eResources through eSharing.
4) Click on eSharing Links

Note: The users can not access websites other than eSharing resources. Revert (change or disable) the Proxy Settings to browse other websites.
