The Chemical Engineering laboratory building has a 30m X 20 m space under one roof where five laboratories have been set up to create the ambience similar to an industry. In addition to that laboratory space, Chemical Engineering block houses Process Control laboratory, Instrumental Analysis laboratory and Physical Chemistry laboratory. It also has a Process Modeling and Simulation Laboratory sponsored by Cognizant Technology Solutions for the usage of simulation softwares such as ASPEN, ANSYS, etc. The Process Control Laboratory in the Chemical Engineering block houses an industrial grade Distributed Control System that can be used to control all the experimental setups in the laboratory remotely.
