Department of Information Technology was recognized as a research center by Anna University in April 2011. The research cell affiliated with the department provided support to two full-time research scholars and 21 part-time research scholars. Additionally, the research cell of Information Technology contributed to numerous student projects, faculty research, and student intramural projects.
