INDUSTRY INSTITUTE INTERACTION CELL(IIIC)

IIIC Coordinator: Mr.T.Rajasekaran

The Industry Institution Interaction Cell (IIIC) was established with the objective,

• To bridge the gap between the industry and the academia.
• To Evolve educational programmes which are consistent with the broad requirements of the industry and which can give rise to engineering personnel capable of coping-up with the accelerating pace of the technological development.
• To create adequate facilities of updating knowledge of professional engineers and technologists to meet growth and developmental needs of the industry.
• To coordinate the research and developmental activities of the two systems

The ultimate goal of this relationship will be the creation of confidence in industry by the institute and vice versa, which would results in industry involving in various stages of institutional development such as

• Participation of Industrial expertise in curriculum reorientation
• Exchange of experts between industry and institute
• Institute as a consultant in R&D.
• Establishment of linkage (MoU) and so on.

Industry-Institution Interaction Cell (2017-18)

• MoU was signed with WriteIT Solutions on 22nd September 2017.
• A Collaborative research project with Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development, Sriperumbudur (RGNIYD) - ICT (Decision support system for Spatial Data) support from SVCE by Dr. R. Anitha for the project 'Constituency Management System (CMS), has been initiated in the Sonawari Constituency of Jammu and Kashmir. , as desired by Shri. Yasir Reshi, Member of Legislative Council, Jammu and Kashmir.

Industry-Institution Interaction Cell (2016-17)

• MoU was signed with HTC - ITMR Pvt. Ltd on 24th May 2017. First Project Assessment Meeting with solutions was held on 31-08-2017 and as a result of this meeting,10 projects were given to students.
• IIIC meeting was organized by the department on 24-06-2017. Around 10 expert members from various IT companies and 6 institution members were participated in the discussion on curriculum to bridge the gap between institution and industry.
