The Centre for Advanced Structural Testing (CAST) Lab and the ANRF Lab provide a specialized environment for advanced studies, enabling students and research scholars to explore emerging areas of civil engineering through hands-on experimentation and applied research. ANRF Sponsored Research Laboratory
This research lab was established through the grant received from Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) for the research project titled "Mix Optimization and Design Guidelines for fully Recycled Geopolymer Concrete" under the Teachers Associateship for Research Excellence (TARE) scheme. Dr.R.Kumutha, Professor & Head is the Principal Investigator of this project and the project duration is three years from 2022 to 2025. The facilities created are shown below.
