The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) is officially recognized as a Research Centre by Anna University, Chennai. This recognition enables the department to offer a strong research environment for pursuing doctoral research (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Further strengthening the research ecosystem, seven faculty members of the department have obtained Supervisor Recognition from Anna University, Chennai, authorizing them to guide Ph.D. research scholars.
